Our Journey
The Beginning
Founded in Lawrenceville, Georgia, in response to the escalating hunger crisis and social unrest in Haiti. A mission born from compassion and urgency.
Crisis Response
Following the devastating earthquake, our mission intensified. We focused our efforts on the Arcahaie region to deliver crucial aid when it was needed most.
Sustainable Growth
Committed to sustainable development, we empowered 1,800 farmers by providing seeds and resources, fostering long-term agricultural success.
Expanding Impact
Extended our support to an additional 500 farmers, building on our foundation of sustainable agricultural development and community empowerment.
Transforming Lives
By March, we had served over 4,500 families, fostering self-sufficiency, particularly among single-parent households, creating foundations for brighter futures.

GtoH collaborates closely with educators, teachers, and school leaders to implement initiatives that expand access to education for all. Our focus is on cultivating learning environments that nurture personal growth and unlock every student’s potential.
Comprehensive Community Support
Today, GtoH recognizes the pressing need to assist and empower individuals and families as they navigate life’s complexities. We offer a comprehensive suite of services tailored to meet both short-term and long-term needs, helping everyone build foundations for success.
Family Support Services
GtoH has intensified efforts to assist families coping with loss and preparing for unforeseen circumstances. Through grief counseling, financial planning, and other supportive services, we stand alongside families during their most challenging times.
Comprehensive Support Programs
In addition to providing aid in accessing essential public services like healthcare, housing, and education, GtoH is committed to offering extensive assistance programs such as adult classes, apprenticeship and employment assistance.
Mental Health Support
We recognize the importance of mental health in people’s experiences. GtoH provides on-site counseling and home visits through specialized partners to ensure individuals receive the emotional, spiritual, and psychological support they need.

Christmas Toy Drive
Annual Community Outreach Initiative
During the holiday season, our Christmas Toy Drive brings joy and smiles to children in underserved communities throughout Gwinnett County. Through our collaboration with local churches, we reach children living in temporary accommodations, emergency housing, and vulnerable households.
These children often face difficult circumstances, and the holiday season can be especially challenging. Our mission is to ensure every child experiences the wonder and joy of Christmas, reminding them they are valued, loved, and not forgotten during this special season.
